Tryon Little Theater
Description

An adaptation of the hit Broadway musical designed for young performers.  The show was inspired by the real-life newsboys’ strike in New York City in 1899, who unite to fight against unfair conditions imposed by powerful newspaper publishers.

This 60-minute production is directed by Donna Everett-Ferguson, with music director Pam McNeil. A huge and talented cast of local youth (42 of them!) are working hard to bring this rousing and powerful musical to the Tryon Fine Arts Center.
